Straw HatsFor us, Straw hats used to be a seasonal business and were displayed and sold from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Now with internet sales, more travel and warmer weather, we display and sell straw hats on a year-round basis. On this site, we have separate a category devoted exclusively to Panama Hats, which are hand-woven in Ecuador. However, listed below we display all styles of Straw Hats whether made of Panama straw or other material. Straw Hats are made from both natural straw weave, and from manufactured braids. Some popular, fine looking summer hats are made of Milan Straw, which is a braided material, and is actually constructed from a type of product produced by the paper industry.
